Saline Middle School's annual canned food drive -

Takes place from Thursday, October 20th through Thursday October 27th. All items will be donated to Saline Social Services.  It is called a "Canned Food Drive" but Social Services say they are in need of EVERYTHING! including toiletry items, paper products, plastic wrap & Ziploc bags.  Some of the most popular items needed are cereal and personal hygiene items, but anything non-perishable is welcome!  Please remember that no glass jars can be donated. There is an underlying competition for the event - Michigan vs Michigan State.   The event is timed to lead up to the big football game on the 29th.  So when students donate items, they will designate it either in support of U of M, or MSU.

Mission Statement

At Saline Middle School, we believe that middle level education must respect the unique developmental issues facing early adolescents. These students are experiencing multiple changes causing them to face many life changing challenges. As educators, we feel it is our responsibility to educate the whole child, not just teaching information, but teaching life lessons that will assist them in becoming successful adults.

Our Science Olympians at their Regionals. Congratulations on a great season.
